Gerry Weber Relaunch

Gerry Weber is a German fashion manufacturer and retailer that does not only sell through their many stores in Europe, but also online.

The international online relaunch of the Gerry Weber brand including Taifun, Samoon and House of Gerry Weber just went live. I was mainly responsible for the frontend architecture and Typescript development, but also for SASS coding.

Every brand has its own CSS and JS build, the architecture is modular, so that components can be reused and plugged together as needed with ES6 imports.

The automated build process was tailored to develop on the Salesforce aka Demandware sandboxes.

Unit tests where written for critical components.
