Surfcamp and spot community
Surfcampseurope.com is a community, where surf camp owners can enter their camps together with the location, images, PDF, dates and prices, translate their entry and more. Users can rate the camps and write comments, enter surf spots and create their own surf spot atlas.
The intention was to give an independent overview about the available camps. User should share their experience so that other visitors have a good vacation…
Additionally I made an iPhone app “Surf is up!” where people could upload their geo-tagged live pics straight from the beaches… But the amount of pictures with beaches is rather small, maybe because the data-rates are to expensive abroad when on vacation. Anyway, I still like the idea of it.
